School Re-Organization -- Share Your Feedback Jun 10, 2019

Dr. Brian White, Superintendent of the Butler Area School District, presented his recommendation for the future organization of our schools on Monday, June 10, 2019. His recommendation is based on numerous factors, including community feedback that was gathered at the School Organization Community Forums last fall. 

At this point, we are once again asking for community feedback. We hope you will take the time to review Dr. White's report and share your feedback by completing a short survey.

Rock Orchestra Tour May 30, 2019 Rock Orchestra

The Butler Rock Orchestra visited Summit Elementary, Center Avenue Community School and McQuistion Elementary on May 17. The Rock Orchestra put on a fantastic show for all of the students and staff at each school! 

MSA Contributes to BASD's STEAM Program May 3, 2019 MSA Group

Two individuals from the Butler community were finalists for the Champions of Learning award. Each year the Consortium for Public Education recognizes Champions of Learning throughout our region. 

Center Avenue Students Visit the Lemieux Sports Complex Apr 26, 2019 Center Ave Students

Center Avenue Community School students recently went on a field trip to the Lemieux Sports Complex and training Center in Cranberry.

Center Avenue Transition Fair Apr 17, 2019 Center Ave Transition Fair

Center Avenue Community School held its first annual Transition Fair on April 11, 2019.  The school partnered with eighteen different community agencies, service providers, employers, and post secondary institutions to help secondary students learn about available resources and opportunities for life after high school.
