Mrs. Hooks has been teaching for Butler Area School District since 2003.  She began her career teaching eighth grade English before switching to reading several years ago.  Currently, she teaches seventh grade English at Butler Intermediate High School.

Mrs. Hooks enjoys spending time with her family, playing with her dog, reading (she is an English and reading teacher!), watching the Penguins, coffee, and all things Snoopy and Harry Potter, to name a few.  She wishes all of her students the best of luck this school year!
