Safe2Say Something Program Jan 11, 2019 Safe2Say Something Program

The Office of the Attorney General adopted the Safe2Say Something Program, which will be used by all school districts in Pennsylvania. Safe2Say is an anonymous reporting system that allows individuals (students, parents, teachers, staff, community members, etc.) to report anyone who may be showing signs they have the potential to carry out an act of violence at school.

Make Up Days Jan 10, 2019

Due to the power outages earlier this year, we submitted an emergency waiver request to the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. However, at this time, we have not heard back from the state. Thus, it is necessary to schedule two make up days.

The make up dates will be:

  • Monday, February 18, 2019
  • Tuesday, April 23, 2019
Golden Tornado Scholastic Foundation Receives Two Generous Donations Jan 7, 2019

The Golden Tornado Scholastic Foundation (GTSF) recently received two generous donations through the Educational Improvement Tax Credit (EITC) Program. NexTier Bank and Baglier Buick GMC Mazda each donated $5,000 to the GTSF in 2018. The funds will be used to support the district’s STEAM program.

Conno BEAT Assembly Jan 3, 2019 BEAT Assembly

Connoquenessing students participated in the BEAT assembly at the end of December.  BEAT stands for Behavior, Effort, Attitude, Teamwork.  Students who earned a BEAT buck and won the 10 in a row on the front whiteboard got to race the principal in the gym or eat lunch with a friend at a special table. View more photos on Flickr>
