McQuistion Elementary School was honored to welcome local first responders for a special Read with Responders event, marking the kickoff of the school-wide Read-a-Thon. 

Congratulations to 8th grade photographer Asher McKee and the IHS Yearbook Staff! Asher’s incredible basketball photo earned first place in Balfour’s Winter '25 Great Shot Photo Contest in the K-8 category. His photo was selected from hundreds of yearbook submissions across the United States, a remarkable achievement!

Mrs. Chwalik’s 7th grade students, in collaboration with Ms. Eckert, IHS Librarian, recently narrated children's stories for elementary students. 

The seventh graders selected humorous and spring-themed books to read aloud, adding enthusiasm and expression to make the stories engaging. Using recording tents, they practiced their fluency and expression before creating their final story videos.

Northwest Elementary School students and their families recently had the opportunity to attend a Pittsburgh Penguins game as part of the school's Wonders of Work focus area.

The Connoquenessing Elementary School community recently came together for a truly special event—the Blue Ribbon Showcase—to celebrate their prestigious Blue Ribbon Award. The evening was filled with excitement, appreciation, and meaningful connections, highlighting the dedication of Connoquenessing Elementary staff, parents, and students who made this achievement possible.
