Preparations for the 2021-22 School Year are underway!
- New registrations do not need to contact our office to request transportation. Upon the completion of your registration paperwork, your student's school will notify our department to add them to our rosters.
- Transportation requests such as Walker to Ride, Additional Custody Request, and Child Care Stop Requests must be renewed yearly. If you require any of these adjustments for the upcoming school year, please submit the completed forms at your earliest convenience. To ensure your request is reviewed and that approved changes are made prior to the start of the 2021-22 school year, please make sure to turn in your completed request by 3:00 pm on 07/15/2021.
- You can find request forms and answers to some commonly asked questions here on our website. Can't find what you are looking for? No worries! Contact out office and a member of our team will be happy to assist you.
The Butler Area School District has started accepting registrations for the 2021-2022 School Year! Are you new to the school district and not sure where to start? Call or email the Transportation Office. We will be happy to look up your address and direct you to the correct school for registration.

Road Work and Traffic Delays
Last updated: 06/14/2021
There are many areas within the Butler Area School District experiencing road work this time of year. The BASD Transportation Office makes every effort to identify and reroute buses accordingly. We are not always notified of some projects that are taking place and this has the potential to delay some of our buses. We maintain close communication with Valley Lines throughout the day. Drivers will alert us to potential areas of delay and the affected families will be notified. If you are experiencing a delay and would like clarification of your student's ETA, please feel free to contact our office at 724-287-8723 or Valley Lines at 724-287-0003.
We appreciate your patience!
