As we prepare to return back to school, the Butler Area School District Transportation Office staff will be available to answer your questions via phone or email.
Our staff will be available Monday - Friday, 8:00 am - 3:00 pm.

There are many areas within the Butler Area School District experiencing road work this time of year. The BASD Transportation Office makes every effort to identify and reroute buses accordingly. We are not always notified of some projects that are taking place and this has the potential to delay some of our buses. We maintain close communication with Valley Lines throughout the day. Drivers will alert us to potential areas of delay and the affected families will be notified. If you are experiencing a delay and would like clarification of your student's ETA, please feel free to contact our office at 724-287-8723.

All transportation requests received by 3:00 pm on 08/24/2020 will be processed/reviewed prior to the start of the school year. From 3:01 pm on 08/24/2020 - 7:59 am on 09/15/2020 we will have a temporary freeze on changes so that the buses can establish their routes & schools can implement seating charts.
These requests include, but are not limited to: Custody, Child Care, Stop Change, Address Change, Walk to Ride, etc.
We will continue accepting requests during that time, but will hold processing until 8:00 am on 09/15/2020. At that time, requests will be processed/reviewed in the order they were received.
