School Meal Prices
The USDA has authorized the Butler Area School District to operate under the Seamless Summer program. This allows our district to provide FREE breakfast and lunch to every child ages 0 to 18 until the end of the 2020-2021 school year. In addition, every student who is enrolled at Butler Area School District will receive free breakfast and lunch for the 2021-2022 school year.

Free and Reduced Meals Application
Children need healthy meals to learn. Butler Area School District offers healthy meals every school day.
Families must submit their free/reduced meal application each year in order to be eligible for free/reduced meals. Typically, breakfast costs $1.25, lunch costs $2.25 for elementary, and $2.50 for secondary. Your child(ren) may qualify for free meals or for reduced price meals. Reduced price is $.30 for breakfast and $.40 for lunch. This packet includes an application for free and reduced price meal benefits, and a set of detailed instructions.
