Transportation accommodations are available for qualifying Child Care & Custody requests.  Upon enrollment, these requests should be submitted to the Butler Area School District Transportation Department for timely processing.  Requests may also be submitted as circumstances change throughout the school year.

PLEASE NOTE - Transportation requests for Child Care & Custody must be renewed yearly at the start of every school year, even if arrangements have not changed.

Child Care Requests

The child care provider must be located within the student's school boundary. For example, a student attending McQuisition Elementary School can only be granted transportation to a child care provider within the McQuistion Elementary School boundary.  If you are unsure whether your child care provider falls within your child's school boundary, please contact us for verification.  

Child care requests may by for AM, PM, or both AM/PM and must be Monday-Friday.

Custody Requests

The secondary address for Custody transportation must fall within the student's school boundary. For example, a student attending Northwest Elementary School can only be granted custody transportation to an additional stop using a verified address that falls within the Northwest Elementary School boundary.  If you are unsure whether the secondary custody address falls within your child's school boundary, please contact us for verification.  

Custody Requests must be accompanied by a legal Custody Agreement.  If the custody arrangement is by mutual agreement, both parties must submit a notarized statement outlining the mutual agreement.
