In the case of inclement weather, Butler Area School District school delays and closings will be announced in the following ways.
- It will be posted as an alert on our website -- www.basdk12.org.
- An automated call will be made.
- An automated text message will be sent.
- It will be posted on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.
- It will be posted to our local broadcast stations -- KDKA, WTAE & WPXI.
If you do not receive a phone call or text message about a school delay or closing, and you would like to receive those messages, please contact the main office at your child's school.
