Middle School Students Decorate Coffee Sleeves to Thank Health Care Workers

BMS Thanks

The students at Butler Middle School decorated coffee sleeves for Butler Health System workers through the Be Tuff Stand Up program.

Be Tuff Stand Up is part of Middle School's Positive Behavior Interventions and Supports (PBIS) program that engages students in a positive way in order to promote a sense of community within our school and community at large. BMS students created about 700 coffee sleeves that will be handed out through Cummings' Coffee Shop's hospital location.

The idea is to spread some cheer and to thank healthcare workers in the hospital for their service and dedication to our community.

This project was made possible through the collaboration with Barry Cummings, owner of Cummings' Coffee Shop and Holly Wilson, BMS art teacher.

"It is my hope that these coffee sleeves bring a smile to someone's face as they get their daily pick-me-up coffee," said Mrs. Wilson.

Great job, BMS!
