Summit Elementary students sang songs, danced and learned about their school’s 3B theme at the School-Wide Positive Behavior Intervention and Support (SWPBIS) kickoff event.
The 3B theme includes:
- Be Respectful
- Be Responsible
- Be Safe
Students will receive tickets for the school’s bee hive when they demonstrate good behavior. Each week, tickets will be drawn from the bee hive and those students will win small prizes or rewards.
Teachers will be tracking student tickets on a monthly basis. Each month, the students with the most tickets will be featured as the grade level student of the month. These students will get to share some fun characteristics about themselves, which will be featured in the school’s showcase. At the end of the year, all of the monthly winners will be entered into a raffle to win larger prizes.
