BMS STEM Competition

STEM Competition

Students in Mr. Sovek's STEAM class recently participated in a STEM Competition at BMS! The teams had 40 minutes to complete a large-span, beam bridge using a K'Nex kit.

The first two teams to finish successfully were selected as the winners. The first and second place teams will move on to compete at the regional level at the Intermediate High School on March 28th for a chance to compete at the state level in Harrisburg!

Congratulations to the first place team (Ethan Klee, Ryan Curry, Lane Hawk and Liam Madden) and the second place team (Zachary Slear, Jack Von Buren, Alec Teff and Jameson Callender)!

And a special thanks to those who volunteered to chaperone and judge: Mrs. Wilson, Mrs. Robb, Mrs. Antoszyk and Mrs. Leech.
