Students Receive Good Citizenship Award

Good Citizens

Two Summit Elementary Students recently received the Good Citizenship Award. This award is presented by the Pennsylvania State Senate. Congratulations to Hailey Frobe and Lily Graef!

The certificate reads:

"The strength and vitality of our nation and Commonwealth of Pennsylvania relies on the continued participation of good citizens who look to improve our country and the community in which they live.

This Good Citizenship Award honors you for demonstrating the five important qualities that make a good citizen -- scholarship, character, service, leadership and acceptance of responsibility -- in your academics, your extra-curricular activities and in your families.

May this award, offered with the best wishes of the Pennsylvania State Senate and State Senator Scott E. Hutchinson, recognize your outstanding conduct and encourage you in all of your future endeavors."
