Dear Butler Area School District Community:
I would like to invite you all to the school board meeting on Monday, June 10, 2019 at the Intermediate High School at 7:30 pm. At that meeting, I will present the information we have gathered from all of our school reorganization meetings this year. I will also present my recommendation regarding the future organization of our schools. Following the meeting, I intend to post a copy of my report to our website for the community to review.
We began thinking about the future organization of our schools in the fall of 2018. The impetus of this was the impending infrastructure renovations that are needed at the current middle school (the old junior high building). After a series of School Organization Community Forums, we received a lot of valuable feedback from our faculty, staff, parents, students and community members. I'd like to thank everybody who took the time to share their feedback with us.
Following the June 10th meeting, I will offer another opportunity for our community to share their thoughts with us through a survey. The survey link will be posted to our website with the report. I encourage you all to share your feedback.
