Greetings from the New Assistant Principal

Butler Intermediate High School Families,

It is with excitement and honor that I write this letter of introduction as the new assistant principal at the Butler Intermediate High School. This upcoming school year will be my fifth with the Butler Area School District. Prior to my position as assistant principal, I served the district as a school counselor at the Middle School, Northwest Elementary, and Connoquenessing Elementary. Prior to Butler, I was a school counselor with the State College Area School District, as well as a school counselor with the Baltimore City Public School System.

I was born and raised in Butler, and graduated from Butler Area School District in 2006. I earned my bachelor’s degree and masters’ degrees from Penn State University. Currently, I live in Butler with my wife on our family farm. I am proud to call Butler home, and look forward to continuing to be a part of this wonderful community.

As a former school counselor, I believe it is essential to build productive, working-relationships with students, parents, and members of the community, and I am excited to establish a connection with you in the upcoming school year. Your input in your child’s education is invaluable, and your contributions in the decision-making process is crucial for success.

If you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact me by phone, or email. I hope you and your child have a wonderful end to your summer!
