More than 40 students in grades 7-12 attend the Equations Academic Game competition at Slippery Rock University on Wednesday, January 29.
To play Equations, students use their mathematical problem solving knowledge to create solutions to complicated goals created by their opponents.
Twelve of the students participating earned undefeated scores. In addition, students in the 7-8 grade division earned both 2nd and 3rd place wins, students in the 9-10 grade division came in 4th place, and students in the 11-12 grade division came in 2nd place.
