Community Partners make Emily Brittain Christmas Wishes Come True

It will be a very merry Christmas for all of the students at Emily Brittain Community Partnership and Demonstration School this year!

Thanks to Inspired Hearts and Hands (IH2), every student had the chance to share their Christmas wish list. The Inspired Hearts and Hands organization worked with local businesses and community members to fulfill every student's wish.

In addition, each family will receive a basket full of food they can use to make a special holiday meal. The food baskets even include a gift card to purchase a ham or turkey to complete the meal.

"I am so very grateful for the many inspired hearts and hands that have so abundantly given of their time, talents, and financial resources to make this possible, particularly the employees of MSA and the many families that support this amazing mission,” said Mindy Schnitgen, President of IH2. “I am honored that God has enabled us to provide the necessary extra this holiday for so many families who most need to know that they are immensely loved and valued."

MSA, CCR and the generous employees at both organizations were all instrumental in making this possible. Eat N Park also contributed to-go meals for each family.

"The generosity in our school community is so heartwarming," said Emily Brittain Principal Cassie Pencek. "These children mean so much to all of us at Emily Brittain. To see their Christmas wishes fulfilled is absolutely incredible. Thank you to Mindy at Inspired Hearts and Hands and everyone else who made this possible. From the bottom of my heart, thank you."
