Mrs. Britta Manges, Photography and Graphic Design teacher at the SHS and IHS, recently received accolades from two organizations for one of her photographs.
Her photograph was accepted into an exhibit through Shippensburg University that was judged by Stephen Truax. Mr. Truax is an artist and writer in New York, where he is a director at Cheim & Read. In addition, her framed photograph was purchased and added to the on-campus Kauffman Gallery in its permanent collection.
The Creativity in Captivity; responses to COVID-19 online exhibit is now open online through Shippensburg University and The Kauffman Gallery

- 160 artists submitted 274 entries to the Call. The judge selected 25 pieces by 20 artists representing 12 states.
- The exhibit will be open online from January 25 - November 1, 2021.

Yosemite Sierra Artists, Visions of Self that will run March 1st – March 31, 2021 at YosemiteArts.com.
The exhibit received over 250 entries from 10 countries worldwide. Ribbons and awards will be announced on the show site on March 1st. The Visions of Self live opening event will take place on Friday, March 5th.
