School Board
The Butler Area School District Board of School Directors is a dedicated team of nine elected community members who volunteer their time to serve the district. Key responsibilities of the Board include establishing district policies, adopting a balanced budget and selecting the district's superintendent.
The Board is committed to making decisions that support student success, promote transparency and ensure Butler Area School District continues to provide high-quality educational opportunities for all students.

Butler Area School District is committed to keeping our community informed and providing easy access to school board information.
Because the Pennsylvania School Boards Association (PSBA) has ended its relationship with BoardDocs, we are currently transitioning to a new platform for publishing school board agendas, meeting minutes and board policies. During this transition, these documents will be available using the links and information below. We appreciate your patience as we work to implement our new system.
