100 Days at Northwest Benefits Humane Society

100 Days

Northwest students recently had fun celebrating the 100th day of school.

For the second year in a row, teachers challenged the students to donate 100 or more items to the Butler County Humane Society. Our students collected and donated 607 items that were needed to help our furry friends at the shelter!

In addition, the Butler City Fire Department Union also helped us by donating $200 to shop for items used daily at the shelter! A local captain at the department even volunteered to help us shop!

Finally, students had a fun visit from some of the pets at the shelter.

Thank you to the Northwest students, families, faculty and staff for their generous contributions to this great cause.
