We are hoping that we will be able to offer Algebra Camp this summer, but we'd like to gather some input from our potential students before we move forward with planning for it. Please answer the questions on this form that are appropriate for your family. Click to complete the form>
What is Algebra Camp?
Algebra Camp is a one-week intensive preview of the skills and concepts necessary for a great start in Algebra. Activities will focus on reinforcing Pre-Algebra concepts while we introduce fundamental Algebra concepts from Chapters 1 to 5 of the Algebra I textbook. Students will be working with multi-step equations, functions and linear relationships – all concepts that we will study during the fall semester of Algebra I. No homework, no tests, no grades! Come meet new friends, increase your confidence, and have a great time doing math.
When is Algebra Camp? How much does it cost?
Algebra Camp will be August 3th – 7th, Monday through Friday, from 8 – 11:30 am. Class size ranges from a minimum of 20 students to a maximum of 25 students. If needed due to high enrollment, a second session will be held during the afternoon from 12:30 – 4:00 pm. Algebra Camp is designed for students who will be taking Algebra I during the 2020-21 school year. The cost for Algebra Camp is $40 per student.
