DISTRICT CONTACTS PA DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH
The District contacted the Pennsylvania Department of Health today to confirm that the District does not have a reporting obligation with the Department of Health. The Department was quite helpful, however, the Department indicated that it will designate a School Health Consultant to assist the District, parents, students and staff. When the Consultant is assigned, more information will be provided on this website.

BUTLER HEALTH SYSTEM TESTING AT SUMMIT ELEMENTARY JANUARY 31 and FEBRUARY 2
The District has contracted with Butler Health System to do blood level testing for lead. The testing can be done at any Butler Health System facility where blood can be drawn or at Summit Elementary School on either January 31, 2017, or February 2, 2017, from 9:00 a.m., to 3:00 p.m.
Students MUST be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian and must complete a Butler Health System consent form prior to the testing being performed.
The District wishes to express its appreciation for the assistance of Butler Health System.
