DEFINITION: A program for students with a disability who require services primarily in the areas of academic, functional or vocational skills necessary for independent living.
PROGRAM DESCRIPTION: The Butler Area School District offers classes for students who qualify for life skills support at McQuistion Elementary School, Butler Middle School, the Intermediate High School, and the Senior High School.Children must qualify for special education services to be eligible for placement in a Life Skills Support Program.Transportation is provided to program locations for all students in the District.
