Requesting Accommodations from the College Board

Requesting Accommodations from the College Board for PSAT and SAT Testing

On this page you will find some resources related to students with IEPs taking the College Board exams (PSAT and SAT). Some of these students might also qualify for testing accommodations for the exams.  While there are very few allowable accommodations, these accommodations can be critical to the  performance of students on the exams.

The process to request accommodations is lengthy and complex.  On this page you will find links to helpful information that Senior High School guidance counselors have developed to share with families and students that might seek accommodations for the College Board exams. As you will learn from the links of information, it could take a seven weeks or more to have accommodations approved.

For additional assistance, please contact the Butler Senior High School guidance office at 724-214-3211.
